Istituto di Studi Giuridici Economici e Sociali Internazionali

L’Istituto si propone di contribuire all’incremento della cultura giuridica, economica, sociologica, storico – filosofica e scientifica nel contesto italiano e in ambito internazionale, ponendosi quale Osservatorio permanente delle materie oggetto di studio e secondo un indirizzo dichiaratamente cattolico, pur nella piena considerazione delle altre identità culturali.

A tal fine l’Istituto mira a favorire uno scambio interculturale europeo e mondiale sia tra gli operatori scientifici altamente qualificati delle università, del mondo professionale, degli Enti, delle organizzazioni internazionali, sia tra gli studenti dei diversi paesi interessati (art. 2 Statuto).

Lo stemma dell’Istituto è il seguente (art.4): d’azzurro, al faro d’argento illuminante d’oro, sormontato da un’aquila dal volo abbassato di nero, armata e rostrata d’oro, linguata di rosso. Capo: di rosso con croce d’argento. Il faro crucesignato da cui si irradiano raggi dorati vuole significare l’intento principe dell’Istituto nel promuovere e diffondere la luce della cultura nell’Orbeterraqueo conservando l’ossequio ai sommi principi della Fede Cattolica.

L’aquila che ne sormonta la lanterna è un richiamo alla Città che ne ha visto il sorgere e ne ospita la Sede primigenia. Il nobile volatile è armato e rostrato d’oro perché proclama e afferma l’alimento prezioso della verità; è linguata di rosso per bruciare la menzogna dopo averla smascherata. Il campo azzurro simboleggia il manto celestiale della Beata Vergine Maria Sedes Sapientiae. La Croce argentea in campo rosso manifesta il vessillo della massima regalità cui fa corona il sangue fecondo dei martiri che hanno combattuto usque ad mortem per il trionfo della Religione.

Institute of Juridical, Economic and Social International Studies

The institute aims at improving the juridical, economic, sociologic, historical-philosophical and scientific culture in the Italian context as well as in an International ambit, permanently observing the subjects considered with a openly catholic trend, nevertheless considering completely other cultural identities.

With this purpose, the Institute aims at fostering an intercultural European and worldwide exchange between scientific high qualified operators from universities, professional world, Boards, international organisations, as well as between students from the various countries interested (art. 2 Charter).

The Institute’s coat of arms is made up as it follows (art. 4): A silver lighthouse with some golden beams plunged in the blue, surmounted by a black eagle, that is flying low, armed and rostrated with gold, and with a red tongue at the same time. The coat of arms’ top is read with a golden cross. The lighthouse with the cross, from where the beams light on, indicates the institute’s main intention of promoting and defending the light of culture in the Orbeterraqueo, preserving the obedience to the Catholic Faith supreme principles. The eagle surmounting the lantern reminds us the town in which it rose and where its primitive Seat is situated. The noble winged is armed and rostrated with gold as it proclaims and maintains the precious nourishment of the truth; the tongue is red in order to burden the lies after finding them out. The blue field symbolises the celestial mantle of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sedes Sapientiae. The silver cross in the red field shows the supreme royalty’s flag, which reminds us the prolific blood of the martyrs who fought usque ad mortem to make Religion triumph.
